Mitchell Little joined the Office of Community Empowerment and Opportunity (CEO) in 2013, where he leads the City of Philadelphia’s anti-poverty agency by managing a diverse portfolio of grassroots, non-profit, and for profit agencies whose mission is to transform the lives of Philadelphia residents. The office acts as a convener, funder, and evaluator contracting with a wide variety of grantees to advance initiatives in benefit access, housing security, learning preparedness, financial security, and workforce development. Mr. Little holds a MS in Public and Nonprofit Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Social Policy & Practice as well as a BS in Art and Architecture from the Penn State College of Arts and Architecture.
