Shaashawn “The Voyce” Dial-Snowden is an award-winning radio broadcaster, thrice-published passionate poet, multi-sensory workshop facilitator, edutaining mistress of ceremonies, and seasoned event planner. Her greatest passion is creating outlets for all persons to discover their voice – what she considers the tool by which people take holistic ownership of their mental, physical, spiritual, and economic health. She strives to exercise her own voice to inspire those who have lost theirs to rediscover it; to aid those who do not think they have a voice, to find it.
She currently holds a Bachelor’s in Philosophy, Lawn, and Rhetoric, a Graduate Certificate in Academic Advising in Higher Education, a Master’s in Public Administration, and is pursuing a Ph.D. in Administration and Leadership Studies. Additional formal education includes LGBTQ Academy Gay Alliance Safe Zone Train-the-Trainer Certification, 14 Stories Gay Wedding Institute Certification, and the Diversity Leadership Academy in Harrisburg.
